SDCB Staff Receive Best Paper Award at Maestra Research Congress 2020

The Schools Division of the City of Batac staff headed by Dr. Joel B. Lopez, Schools Division Superintendent and Dr. Annie D. Pagdilao, OIC, Office of the Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, received the Best Paper Award by the Maestra Professional Journal 1st Research Congress 2020 with the theme “Enriching the Culture of Education Research in the New Normal. The award was announced via zoom and facebook live during the Research Congress Closing Ceremony on 03 October.
Selected as the best paper for the Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers (PPST) Domain 4 Curriculum and Planning, the research “Comparative Effectiveness of the Different Modalities of Modular Learning Delivery” is recognized for its noble objectives to compare the effectiveness of the different modalities of modular learning delivery and to formulate the implementing guidelines on the Division Learning Continuity Plan for School Year 2020-2021.
The research paper was presented via 15-minute zoom conference by Dr. Lopez and Engr. Pepsi P. Duldulao, Senior Education Program Specialist (SEPS) II In-Charge of Research last 12 September. The research team is composed of Dr. Joel B. Lopez, Lead Researcher, Dr. Annie D. Pagdilao, Engr. Pepsi P. Duldulao, Dr. Marilou B. Sales, Ms. Nemalyn M. Ulep, Ms. Susan M. Aspili, Ms. Marlene C. Castillo, Ms. Aileen V. Joaquin, Dr. Aubrhey Marie R. Oasay, Dr. Jhon Rey D. Ortal, Dr. Marilou P. Omotoy, Ms. Joycelyn P. Perdido, Dr. Noreen C. Taguinod, and Ms. Celia A. Verano, Members, who all participated in the said conference.
The best papers for the seven domains of the PPST will be published in the Maestra Professional Journal 3rd and 4th quarter issues of 2020. These seven research papers are also the contenders for the Overall Best Papers to be announced on 05 October. The top three best papers will win Php5,000.00, Php3,000.00 and Php2,000.00 respectively.
The Maestra Research Congress was hosted by Carl E. Balita Review Center, the official publisher of the Maestra Professional Journal.
